Bad Cop/Bad Cop is the European vinyl reissue of the 2013 self-titled debut EP from Southern California melodic punk rock outfit Bad Cop/Bad Cop. Released by Austrian independent punk imprint SBÄM Records in conjunction with Hurley Recordings, this configuration marks the first time the band’s rare, out-of-print debut material was formally pressed and distributed for the European market. While technically a three-song 7-inch EP played at 45 RPM, the release is distributed in standard LP-style retail packaging and has been pressed across several limited European color variants, including white-and-black splatter, clear blue/white, and white with yellow splatter wax.

The music captures the band’s foundational formula right before they were discovered by Fat Wreck Chords, showcasing high-energy, aggressive skate punk driven by intense three-part vocal harmonies. Produced and co-written alongside Davey Warsop, the tracks balance heavy, fast-tempo guitar progressions with catchy hook delivery, focusing lyrically on personal independence, frustration, and localized Southern California underground themes.
