A breakneck blast of pure, unadulterated skate punk, Proud to Be is the legendary second studio album from Los Angeles hardcore icons DFL (Dead Fucking Last). Originally released in 1995 through the independent giant Epitaph Records, this record captured the band at their absolute peak of fast, hyper-aggressive energy. Decades later, the physical vinyl format was given a massive 20th-anniversary reissue campaign, pressed across limited translucent green and classic black wax. This treatment gave their raw, stripped-down production—tracked at the Beastie Boys‘ famous G-Son Studios—the heavy, tactile vinyl preservation it truly deserves.
