Released in 1993 by Broken Rekids, Bitter Youth is the furious, landmark debut full-length album from the Madison, Wisconsin-born, California-based anarcho-punk stalwarts Naked Aggression. Formed as a direct, visceral protest against the Gulf War and right-wing political structures, the band—led by the fierce vocal delivery of Kirsten Patches and the distinctive guitar work of late co-founder Phil Suchomel—crafted a blistering blueprint for 1990s DIY political hardcore.
