Oil Tanker / No Tomorrow

Oiltanker / No Tomorrow is a 2012 split full-length album shared by Hartford, Connecticut metallic crust unit Oiltanker and Wilmington, North Carolina d-beat outfit No Tomorrow. Released as a 12-inch vinyl LP through Profane Existence Records, the physical pressing included standard black vinyl along with a limited green marble variant.

The record frames two distinct styles of modern underground crust. Side A features No Tomorrow‘s driving, frantic style heavily influenced by Scandinavian d-beat templates like Skitsystem and Märtyrdöd. Flipping over to Side B, Oiltanker delivers a slower, crushing style of heavy, metallic crust punk, closing out their side with a cover of State Of Fear’s “Violation“.
