Imperial Leather – “Do you know where your children are?”

Do You Know Where Your Children Are? is the 2008 sophomore full-length studio album from Swedish punk band Imperial Leather. Released by Profane Existence Records, the album received worldwide distribution across standard black vinyl, a purple marble pressing, and a unique double 7-inch vinyl variant.

Musically, the group steps away from traditional Scandinavian d-beat, delivering a fast, melody-driven style of old-school hardcore punk heavily influenced by early 1980s Southern California punk. Fronted by female lead vocals, the band anchors its driving tempos with prominent rock-and-roll guitar hooks and sharp socio-political lyricism. The album’s 10-track core progression was tracked at Erebus Odora studios by producer Peter Bjärgö.
